The Nike Air Jordan 1 “New Beginnings” pack, which includes a 1985 Nike Air Jordan 1 in red/white and 1984’s Nike Air Ship, has a rumored release date and a fitting one at that. The pack is set to drop during the 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend which takes place in Chicago this year. The early rumored price for the 2-pack is said to be in the $350 range.
The Nike Air Ship, if you recall, was the shoe that Jordan wore early in his rookie season before the creation of the Air Jordan 1. And while adorning the Air Ship, it was this shoe that was banned by the NBA and not the Air Jordan 1, for breaking the NBA uniform code. It has long been rumored that Nike has plans to bring the Air Ship back for the 35th anniversary of the popular relic.
The shoes will be released in a half-in-half box with AJ1 coming with the hang tag from 1985.
The iconic Jordan 5 Fire Red will drop in 2020, paving the way for what is quickly shaping up to be one of the most exciting years for sneakers in recent time. The 2020 release will be the closest to the original 1990 release to date, with design features including the reflective tongue, the black midsole, and the hyper red detailing that set these off as one of the most iconic Jordan’s ever made. The last release of the “Fire Red” came in 2013, thus we are due for a refresh.
The Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red” is officially set to drop 30 years to the date that Michael Jordan dropped 69 on the Cleveland Cavaliers. That date would be March 28th, 2020. If you’ll remember, Jordan went 21-23 from the free throw line and led the Chicago Bulls to an overtime victory, 117-113, solidifying Jordan as not only the best basketball player of his time, but furthering the case for the argument of being the best basketball player to have ever played the game.
As always, zSneakerheadz is on the plug with fresh images of the 2020 drop.

The Jordan Brand will partner with Virgil Abloh’s OFF WHITE brand next year and we now have photos of what are said to be the collab of the Jordan 5’s.
In what will, without question, be one of the hottest cops of 2020, the new collab will feature the red zip tie and custom OFF WHITE lettering . This will be only the second retail release of a Jordan X Off White collab. The first drop came in 2017 when the “Chicago” dropped as part of “The Ten” pack. Several prototypes were also on display at an event in Chicago some time back, albeit never made it beyond that.
The collab is expected to drop some time at the beginning of 2020, possibly in February.
Get set for worlds to collide as Nike’s plan to jean up your feet now has a tentative release date.
Taking a kick from a little bit of every style of denim the world have grown to love, the Washed Denim, Sail, Varsity Red, and Black color schemed Air Jordan 6 should be available on December 28th, 2019. These appear to be a general release, in that most retailers will have them and will Nike.com. None the less, the shoes look to be a stylish way to end the year.
Retail price is rumored to be set at $200.
OKCSelections.com will likely have a preorder (a feature that will be implemented very soon).

File this one in the rumor gone true section as we finally have half of the story for the Animal Pack release that was rumored back in September of this year.
The “Black/Dark Mocha/Rope/Multi-Color” drop will come in December of 2019 (yes that’s just a month away). Expect to pay $220 for the highly customized Air Jordan 3.
The second half of the equation isn’t as clear. All signs point to a Spring 2020 release, but as you know, that can change wildly.
The shoe will feature an array of animal prints with one of them covered in a faux horse hair as the base. The folks at PETA should get a kick out of this one even though it would be assumed that no ponies were involved in the manufacturing of said shoes.

Last week, we posted the release of the Black/Gold Jordan 1 that is slated to drop in December of 2020. Today, we are dropping even more December 2020 news in the way of the Jordan 1. Remember, it was rumored earlier this summer that Nike would bring us a “Dark Mocha” with a similar but darker colorway. These lighten it up a bit, taking on more of an all-white/darkened approach.
As we continue to grow our website, we will continually add fun new features. One of the more compelling and exciting features of the internet is the good ol’ rumor mill. What sneaker blog would be in existence without one?
In this weeks edition we look at the purported rumor from the ultra reliable Sneakerheadz. One of the most reliable sources on twitter, the account has repeatedly dropped some exciting and useful information about future drops with quite high success. Coincidence?
This weeks awesomeness comes from the Jordan High world. According to Sneakerheadz. , December of 2020 cap the year off with a very exciting drop – an all black Jordan 1 High with gold highlights. When we say all black, this thing is BLACKED out!

Whether you’re a fan of the mash up colorway or a hater, the Jordan 4 is dropping just in time for the Christmas season.
While the KD has been off and on with sales (notably the KD6 having the most staying power), the Jordan’s have been quiet on the “What The” front, until now.
Utilizing one of it’s most popular shoes, the Jordan 4 will keep it rather conservative, sticking to the true colors of the original Jordan’s and not adding any additional flare.
Confirmation of the release was solidified when the FootLocker app posted the shoe to it’s release calendar. Images were leaked throughout the year, but it was not until recently the ultimate confirmation was made. Peep the images below in the gallery.
The long rumor of the Jordan 11 BRED’s dropping before the end of the year has been taking shape since this summer. Multiple sources have now confirmed that the official date will be December 14th.
This will be the fourth drop for one of the greatest sneakers Nike has ever made. Furthermore, the 2019 drop will be the closest to the original that Nike has taken the AJ11 BREDs since its original release.
The prestige of the Air Jordan 11 BRED’s runs deep. Michael Jordan wore the shoe as the Bulls clinched their 4th NBA World Championship on Father’s Day in 1996.

In a bid to build their direct-to-consumer relationship with their customers, Nike announced on Wednesday that they will no longer use Amazon’s Marketplace to sell their products.
In 2017, Nike began selling their products on Amazon in an effort to combat the illicit trade of counterfeit Nike products flooding the world’s largest e-marketplace. Now, according to a statement released to Bloomberg News, they are striking that agreement.
As we have seen, Amazon has been marginal at best in removing counterfeit goods from their marketplace. In the meantime, Nike has done an outstanding job in building their own online marketplace, operating via apps such as the SNKRS app and their self branded Nike app. According to the statement, Amazon had been anticipating this for a while now as Nike has been closely following the Amazon situation.
In the meantime, Amazon has gone out of their way in a bid to offer Nike products to their buyers by recruiting 3rd party distributors of the brand to sell Nike branded products on Amazon. Nike was already facing stiff competition as many sellers of Nike’s products were outpacing them in the review category which was landing Nike lower down in the search listings.
